After a long wait and process, my now husband had a Male officer to interview him. He was the last interview of the day and the officer seemed tired according to my husband. The officer asked my now husband basic questions about us, how many times we met in person, how we communicate, about my family, he asked about our age difference (23 yrs), and our different backgrounds. This was not all he asked but a few questions. My now husband answered the officer questions without hesitation and things went well. It lasted around 30 minutes. At the end the officer provided my husband with a document, said he was not or approving or denying our K1 Visa but wanted to do more research and that we would have a decision by the following Monday. Well after waiting until Monday, a the consulate agent called my now husband and asked my husband to return to the Consulate in Casablanca with his passport and we had approval as the officer promised. For the interview we were prepared and had all required documents and a significant amount of evidence establishing our relationship( pictures, all conversations, trip itineraries, everything that may be considered evidence of support. If its a real relationship like ours the interview should go well even if your nervous. Its expected because a stranger deciding your life with the one you love. Stay positive, keep the faith and all will go well. I do recommend having an attorney for the process ours was amazing. The best of luck. Mr. and Mrs. M |

Timeline Comments: 1 Simo on 2018-10-23 said: Hey guys, I see that your timeline is close to ours. Wondering if your heard anything? It’s going to be 3 months soon and no response for us. How about you?
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
