Drewber on 2019-03-04 said:I emailed the consulate a couple of times. They suggest that if you email too much, they put you to the back of the queue. We completed the DS-160 about a month ago. No real word though since the email from the consulate that said they got the file and that they would be in touch. If they follow the pattern from last month, we could hear this week?

We have received your case electronically form NVC but unfortunately there is no space available for local scheduling. As soon as there is space we will contact you and send you the information about how to proceed with your case.

Drewber on 2019-03-26 said:We waited to pay. They ask for payment when you schedule the appointment and took a credit card through the website. This is different than what they say in packet 3. There they say to bring cash to the interview, and also tell you to use the website to schedule the interview where you pay. Conflicting info, but not a shock with this process..
