Glad to see that your case hit the consulate in Abu Dhabi! I noticed that a bunch of cases got packet three and scheduled interviews on 2/4-5/19. I’m hoping that they process cases monthly? Best wishes to you!

I noticed the same! Hoping they do and we recieve it soon. Have you tried emailing the consulate and submitting ds160 yet? I'm not sure if I should wait to do either. Since our timelines are close, would be great to help each other through. Best wishes to you as well!

I emailed the consulate a couple of times. They suggest that if you email too much, they put you to the back of the queue. We completed the DS-160 about a month ago. No real word though since the email from the consulate that said they got the file and that they would be in touch. If they follow the pattern from last month, we could hear this week?

Hmm ic. Did you use the online form to email the consulate and was that email from the consulate in reply to your email? The last email we got was from NVC. Should we have received one after that?

I used adudhabiiv@state.gov. My fiancé got the address from another contact on VJ.
Here’s the response and the email I sent them.
Dear Applicant/Petitioner,
We have received your case electronically form NVC but unfortunately there is no space available for local scheduling. As soon as there is space we will contact you and send you the information about how to proceed with your case.
Thanks for patience and understanding.
Thanks,

Let’s let each other know if/when we hear about packet 3? I’m struggling with the ambiguity...

Yes will do! Hope it's soon

I just got packet three in an email today! Hope you get yours soon!

Do we need to have ds160 submitted to get packet 3?

We submitted ds160 a few weeks ago. Packet three tells you to complete the submission and bring the print out to the interview.

Oh ok. thank you! congrats on receiving!! hoping we'll get it soon too

On the DS160, did you check off you received IMBRA pamphlet as part of application packet? Thank you!

Where is that question? I don’t even see it on the app I filled out? I guess my answer is no.
Hope this helps?

It's on the last page where you sign. it's a check mark. I'm guessing you need to check it off though lol. Just wanted to make sure. Thanks so much!

Hey jw how interview times are, were you able to schedule your interview?

The first interview time available was longer away then we thought, almost 5 weeks away. There was one available on that first available, then like 2-3 on other days?

Oh wow. Thanks for the info. Ah that is crazy though.

Sorry quick question, do you know how many times your CEAC date was changed while in Ready at the consulate? I think it indicates when they touched your case so just wanted to see if there's a correlation? Thank you soooo much!

I'm sorry. I don't know. I didn't track that. You are still waiting for packet 3? Hoping soon for you!

Ah ok. Yep still waiting. Might send another email next week

Hi again! Did you pay the fee after submitting ds160? Or was that later when scheduling the interview? Thank you!

We waited to pay. They ask for payment when you schedule the appointment and took a credit card through the website. This is different than what they say in packet 3. There they say to bring cash to the interview, and also tell you to use the website to schedule the interview where you pay. Conflicting info, but not a shock with this process..

Hey hope all is well. Just wondering how many times did you email the embassy between getting your packet 3? Thanks!

I emailed 3 times, I think. You don’t have packet 3 yet? So sorry! I’ll be in Dubai Thursday. Visa was approved Monday :-)

Congrats!!! No packet 3 yet :( but hoping this week.

Hi, would like to ask what tax did they need during your interview, was it transcript or returns? Thank you so much in advance and congrats ☺ï¸

I provided 3 years transcript but they only took 2018

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
