He asked if I live apart from my spouse. I told him just for the 1 year during the filing of I-130 processing. He asked if we had any children, we told him not yet, but we have one on the way and are due soon. He asked if we brought any additional documents and if we wanted to add them to the file. We brought 3 years of tax returns, 3 months of checking and savings from two bank accounts, spouse heath insurance proof, and a few invoices from flights and hotel stays of trips we took. We also brought a small photo album and he asked to show him some pictures and explain them. The whole interview was in his office, but he sat in a different room and we spoke via an iPad video chat.

Consulate Review: Mumbai, India Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa Event Description Review Date : November 9, 2018 Embassy Review : -Got to the Consulate at 7AM -Got into building around 7:30 -During the security check everything with smoothly, but I had taken both of my medical packets and the sealed packet had a CD so I was instructed to go outside to give it to my family members. I had to wait in line again but finally made it through security. -I then waiting for almost 90 mins to get called up for the interview. -These are the following questions the CO asked me: -I was asked about how I met my husband -How the family friend that connected us knew my family and his -When was the last time I saw my husband in person -What date we got married and where -Why had there had been so much time since he traveled to India last -Where does your spouse work -Do you have any siblings in the US -Are you going to your siblings house of husband's house when you get to US -Where does your spouse live? -Where else have you traveled out of the country After this was all done the CO with a smile on his face said I am approving your Visa and he then went over VAWA information/rights. He then wished me Happy Anniversary as my interview date was my 1st anniversary date and I was on my way! Very smooth process. Just be prepared with all your documents as they did not look at much for me but he did look over the following: -DS 260 confirmation page -Two photographs 2x2 inches -Medical Report (No X-ray films or discs) -Police Clearance Certificate from the Regional Passport Office -Original and photocopy of Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate, Divorce decree -Affidavit of Support: Forms I-864, I-864A, Tax returns, W2s and job letter. (Even though I already sent this to NVC) Rating : Very Good

POE Review: Atlanta Event Description Entry Date : 2018-11-16 Embassy Review : Very easy just asked my date of birth in as my anniversary date. Did not take very much time and was done within an hour. It was done so quick I actually got out before my husband got to the airport as it did not take the two hours that we thought was Goni good to take. Very happy to finally be in the United States! Thank you visajourney! I’ll be back when I’m ready to file the next step be back when I’m ready to file the next step in a couple of years! Harassment Level : Low
