Our interview was good and the interviewer approved my wife.
He split us up I (sponsor) went first. He asked the following questions:
1. Full name
2. DOB
3. Address
4. Wives Full Name
5. Wives DOB
6. How did we meet
7. Date of wedding
8. Location of wedding
9. Number of siblings my spouse had. (Which I stated she had a bunch).
10. Whether my spouse and I have joint bank account. (Which I stated, no because of lack of SSN).
11. Where do I work? (Had just lost job, told him that and what I was doing to supplement income).
12. Wives job? (Dosen't have one no SSN).
My wife got asked all of the same questions.
They asked her my full name and date of birth and our address.
They asked her how we met, and when and where we were married.
They asked how many people were at the wedding and about our bank accounts and my job.
At the end we received a paper stating that our "application/petition has been recommended for approval. At this time, it appears that you have established your eligibility for the immigration benefit for which you applied. If final approval is granted, you will receive your approval notice by mail."
We received a Notice of Action in the mail stating that her Green Card should arrive in 3 weeks, 2 days after that it arrived in the mail. |

Had interview on May 30th, interviewer interviewed husband and then spouse (LPR). Wife passed all tests but interviewer misread tax form and thought we owed taxes for 2022. Wife of course doesn't know anything about taxes so couldn't dispute. Husband uploaded all relevant documents showing a 2022 refund. And 5 days after submission, oath cermony was scheduled.
Oath ceremony completed - wife is now an American citizen. |

I (US Citizen), filed I-129F in April 2018; received notice in November 2018. On December 13, 2018 my fiance went for her interview. The interviewer asked the following questions: How old we both were. Whether either of us had ever been married. First time I (US Citizen) visited the Philippines. Where did we go on that first visit. When I (US Citizen) had last visited the Philippines. Asked what my fiance liked about me.
I sent my fiance the following documents to be able to provide to the interviewer: Form I-134, Form I-797, List of my stocks & bonds, Copy of my 401(k) value, Copy of HSA value, Statement from an officer of my bank, Account Transaction Detail Report, Personal Savings Statement for 9 Months, Copy of Standard Checking Statement for 9 Months, Instructions for Employer Verification with a Salary Key, Employment Data Report, My 2017 W2, A new Letter of Intent to Marry, and my 2017 IRS Transcripts.
My fiance also brought all of our letters, photos, etc. None of the above did the interviewer ask to see. |

Congratulations to you. We are too weeks behind you. This was really waytoofast. I was just wondering did you expedite the process or it was a normal application?

Did not do any expediting so sorry missed the question.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
