Thank you Jade2Jewel!!!! Quick question- for the visa appointment did you choose "I need to register an immigrant visa appointment?"
There are a few options when scheduling the interview but I am confused because I thought this was a NONimmigrant visa.
I'm afraid to hit next and mess it all up! The last thing I received was an email from NVC stating that the petition was in transit to the consulate and that the next steps were to proceed with the DS-160 and scheduling the interview!

Hi Delilah,
I had the exact same scenario. What is strange, is that I just kept going in a circle. There are no other options, and i’m Concerned it did not go through properly.
I’m going to see if I can call someone tomorrow from the site and get some answers. I will let you know what I find out.
Best Regards,
Jill

Jade2Jewel this is so tricky and nerve wrecking! I am figuring that the correct response is "I have received a letter from the consular section with instructions to register or schedule a K visa appointment." The thing is I received instructions from NVC and not the Guyana consulate.
I really hope you are good to go! Thanks for keeping me posted :) Did you end up choosing the "immigrant visa" option or did you opt for the "I have received a letter from the consular section with instructions to register or schedule a K visa appointment?"

Did you ever get answers on scheduling an appointment?
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
