I arrived August 17 in Manila from Cebu a day before the interview. I had to be in line the next day by 5 am. I waited until 6 am and they let us in. Once you're inside there are 2 departments I had to go through before I got my interview. The first once collected my papers and the second took my fingerprints. Then finally I had my interview at around 8 am. The interview was quick. They asked me some questions about my fiance like, the address in the states I was going to, how we met, what line of work he does and within 5 minutes they said I was approved. I then went home and 5 days later I got my passport back with my American visa. They sent it back to me via FedEx by the way so I had to make sure that someone was available to accept the package for me. Then 2 weeks before we left to the US I had to attend a full day seminar in Cebu to get my Commision of Filipinos Overseas Guidance and Counseling Certificate. Hope this helps |

Timeline Comments: 2Hi ervy! Just wanna ask if you have already tried to follow up the status of your EAD? Since based on the timeline, your application is already beyond processing time. Thanks!
Hi Livdagan,
This Chanoy, Ervys husband. Sorry just saw your message. No, we have not received EAD yet. We called USCIS twice and even had our congresswoman do a congressional inquiry. We are just told to wait. Thinking about hiring an attorney at this point. I see you already received yours. Did you doing anything out of the ordinary to get it so soon? Thank you!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
