Comments : Arrived at Kingston Embassy @ 8am for 10am interview appointment. Joined the line outside, in front of embassy. A woman came and asked for the embassy payment receipt, verify passport pictures verified passport for all of us. We waited for approximately 10 minutes before let inside. Went through security check and let outside around back of building. We were directed to a desk outside where the same documents were verified and led right inside where interview was to take place. At 10am we were called up to the window and asked for passports, ds160, non impediment, police cert, birth cert, I -134, tax transcripts. Stood for about 15 minutes. Then given a number, sat down and waited. We're finally called up for interview at 1:20pm. It was a white man, who was kind but to the point. He asked us

How we met?
How did I find him on Facebook?
Did we have any mutual friends?
We didn't so he asked why I requested him as a Facebook friend?
He asked if my fiance ever been arrested or been to court?

When and how we met face to face?
How many visits to Jamaica I've had?
Has he ever been to the US?
Have I met his family?
Has he met my family and who?
How may kids I had?
He asked my fiance if he talked to my kids?
He asked what they talked about?
My heart was racing the entire time so I did stumble over my words often.
He was really considerate.

Visa approved!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
