We have been together since we met. I have traveled twice to Pakistan and appeared for my fiance's interview. Our first strike was explaining we met randomly through associates on Facebook. Facebook explanations are not a strong source of proof... interviewer was not impressed. Our second strike was our 25 year age difference. The interviewer started talking to my fiance like he was a child. What do you family think? He could be your father? Our third strike... our same sex couple. Unless there has ever been an approval, I'm convinced that had something to do with it too. My fiance was prepared and all our paperwork was there. They told us our request was for convenience. If it had was true, I could have easily sent my finance to do it by himself. I feel like I've been robbed... robbed of money, time, and my marriage.

Our first case took 181 days from NOA1 issue date until we received our first NOA2. We waited an additional 57 days due to "administrative processing" issues and received a second NOA2. Our first interview took place 294 days later. Our final closure letter to our first case was issued after 520 days. This case file was mailed 2018-05-15, and our final notice was postmarked 2019-10-28.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
