Comments : I make an inquiry to the US Consulate in Hong Kong, found out the package 3 was mailed on Sept 29,2018.
I did not wait for the package, but sent the DS2001 form downloaded from the website and DS160 with a cover letter requesting for an early appointment.
And on Oct 4, 2018, I received an inquiry reply saying the package 4 was mailed today and the interview will be on Oct 23,2018

Consulate Review: Hong Kong, China
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : October 23, 2018
Embassy Review : My interview time was at 8:30am
I arrive around 8am. The security was pretty strict. Even I measure the size of my bag, I was told my small bag is too big and I have the store my big to the nearby sport center locker. Okay, then I have to book thr cheapest facility in the sport centre in order to use the locker.

After went through security, the immigrant visa session was on the upper floor. A small room with 25 chairs and 4 counters.

I was called to hand in all documents to the first officer who spoke Cantonese. I was called by him again after he had a check of my documents. He asked me how did I meet my fiancee and what is his job. Real fast questions. I guess that it was because my fiancee and I were living together in HK for 3 years together.

I was called again by a male Consulate 15mins afterward. He asked me interesting questions,

Who is this guy (he points at tbe picture)
Why did you want to marry him? I almost laugh, and he shake his head, seems he doesnt think marry is a good idea
Was it love at a first sight? Or love after getting to know each other?
How long did you take to get to know your fiancee?
These questions are funny.

What is my fiancee job
What is my job
What is your travel plan

Then he said that your application is fine, everything looks okay.
They cancelled my B1/B2 visa immediately because I am applying for an immigrant visa.

I was told that I will recieve my passport in 2 weeks by SF express.

It was fast and the officers and consulate use speaker to communicate with applicants inside their counter.

So basically everyone knows everyone story and background in the room.

Finally it done!!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
