Port of Entry Review
Event Date
Port of Entry : JFK
POE Date : 2007-11-10
Got EAD Stamp : Yes,Passport Stamp
Biometrics Taken : No
Harassment Level : 0
Comments : Everything looked good until R. was sent to another officer and everyone around him was getting deported, so he got really nervous, especially since he thought he was getting deported and no one would be able to tell me. The officers told him there was no problem and that he should "go home", and they let him through.

Comments : I'm only leaving all this info here if someone wants to go through this awful process. I'm glad it's over with and that he's taken his citizenship and gotten the hell out of my life. I'm only going to say, you could think you know someone for 12 years and they'll turn around and throw you in the garbage over a stupid plastic card and citizenship to a country.

Consulate Review: Egypt
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : September 25, 2007
Embassy Review : Ramy arrived at the embassy an hour early and only had to wait a couple hours for his interview. The CO was very nice and polite and only asked a few questions. She did not ask to see any evidence and when he asked what he should tell me, she said "Congratulations, you are approved, and I hope you have a beautiful wedding." She told him he would receive his passport with the visa in about 3 weeks, but it was actually issued only 8 days later!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
