I took all the documents I applied with along with the ones mentioned in the appointment letter. All he asked for was my green card. He then proceeded with English test. There was a tablet, on which he asked me to read a sentence and then write a sentence. He then proceeded with civics test. He stopped with 6 questions since I got them all correct. The explained to me about the oath ceremony, how to apply for passport etc. We also chatted on my way out about the government shutdown. I said I was worried that the processing would be late. He said they are the one group in DHS which is self funded from the application, so the government shutdown won't affect them.
