Hi Nice, Your time line and mine are almost similar, I have a question for you. How did you know NVC received your case ? Did you call or e-mail NVC (or) Didi you receive any notice or e-mail from NVC.
Thank you

Hello! USCIS sent our approved petition to NVC last Oct 2. After that, we’ve sent an expedite request to NVC due to pregnancy nearing due date on Oct 4 and it was approved Oct 9. I called NVC to ask for my NVC Case Number Oct 15 but they told me to wait for my welcome letter. Surprisingly, I got an email few minutes after my call containing an electronic welcome letter. I’ve paid AOS and IV fee on Oct 16 and submitted D-260 on Oct 18. Unfortunately, CEAC website is down and won’t accept uploading scanned documents until further notice. Now, i’m not sure if i’ll be able to get an IV before i give birth. 😠sorry for the long answer (you may find some info irrelevant to your case).

Thank you for your response, As per my knowledge if petitioner is Green card holder, we have an option to add the children at NVC stage. if the due date is very close, I suggest wait until delivery and add the baby along with your documentation. Other wise you need to file separate I-130 for the child, which is lengthy process you know it. God Bless You.

I’m not sure if you’re familiar with 9 FAM 201.2-3 but that is the reason why I’m pushing it hard to get an IV before I give birth. Now, I’ve already submitted all fees, forms and documents to NVC without mentioning my baby (no options for that since all documents needs date of birth). If ever I won’t be able to get an IV before giving birth. I need to wait for my daughter to get all necessary documents so I can bring her to the embassy on my interview. I just have to call embassy to ask them what specific documents I need to bring. God bless you too and Good luck to us!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
