Yup, well thats the end of that. Went for an interview at the Pittsburgh office. Showed up at 7.30, was waiting until around 8.15. A very pleasant interview person came and got me. She was very warm and put me immediately at ease. We went over the paperwork and i presented the divorce decree. She said it was a simple process and took a copy of it. We checked off things on the i-751, dates, names and phone numbers. She asked what happened to the marriage and I just kept it short, I just was 'XXX was unfaithful' - She said she understood as she also went through a similar experience. She was super nice! She commented on how straight forward my application was. The only other question she asked me was ' what are you doing for work ' and 'how did you and XXXX meet?' - She didn't ask me but i also gave her documentation of my speeding ticket, she took it, took a copy and put it in the file. She then went onto to say 'You're approved you can apply for citizenship in 2 years' - I asked her if she does the citizenship interviews and told her hopefully I will see her again. Was only in the interview for about 20 mins. |

Yup, awesome. Stayed in the travellodge vauxhall the night before for £31 good buy and close to the embassy/station.
Got there a little late, interview at 9.30, was there about 9.20. Skipped the line and went right to the front.
Upstairs, checked all the documents in.
Questions:
Where did you meet?
When do you plan to move?
When was your last entry into the US?
Think that was it. We talked about current years income and that was that.
Bloody freezing in London though, thankfully it was not raining.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
