Nice! I was just reading over the next steps once it heads to Frankfurt, have you done anything from this list?

I did the ds160 today. And i have all papers ready. Just have to do the medical and wait for nvc to send the stuff to Frankfurt. Oh and i have to get the noa2 from my fiancé cause we apparently need it.

that's great news, do you know if you can send in the ds260 at any time? or did you wait for a specific status?
Mousey on 2019-03-25 said:
Oh i don't know. I just submitted it today. Hope that was not wrong lol. I thought since i have the new case number they will have everything by the time it gets to Frankfurt. (But it's the ds160 not the ds260).
What do you think?

That's a good question, I'm not sure as we haven't received any packet yet as I just got our case number today... but I would assume the same. Did you receive any physical instructions directly to you? I thought it was the ds260 as mentioned in this document:

No we just got the case number March 18th thats it.
Nah keep reading. Ds260 is for immigrant visa. And k1 is non immigrant which means ds160

ah okay. and you're right, I am being too eager!

Hey Mousey, where did you read that you need to send in the NOA2? I don't see it anywhere in the instructions?
Mousey on 2019-03-25 said:
It showed up after submitting the ds160
It said "bring to the appointment the confirmation page and passport and proof of approved i129-f"
I email the consulate last year and asked if i have to bring the noa2 but they just send me the check list you have. So i thought we don't need it. But guess we do

How was your experience, everything went smooth? Did they ask for any document? My fiance's interview is on this coming monday hope everything go good with him
1quickZ on 2019-07-03 said:
My fiance said it went very smooth. The NOA2 had expired a few days before the interview but they did not even bring it up. She only needed her passport and interview confirmation. The questions she was asked were the same that are listed on the Frankfurt embassy reviews on here.
Good luck!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
