Event Description

Embassy Review : As my appointment was scheduled close to Christmas holidays, the waiting times were horrendous. I almost spent my entire day in the embassy and missed almost an entire workday. I also showed up an hour early for a morning appointment, which was really unnecessary because they did not let anyone into the building until the actual time of the appointment. So we were freezing in Stockholm minus degrees for an hour outside and had to take off our jackets to enter the building! Be prepared if you do your interview in winter!!! Haha 😆
Apart from the inconvenience at the entrance, the officers were really friendly and they did their absolute best in an understaffed situation! It was overall a good experience and I was lucky to be living in Stockholm at that time, because other applicants had to travel there from other countries.
The questions asked were very simple: How and when did you meet eachother? How did you become a couple? How many times have you been visiting each other?etc
Friendly staff and great embassy. They reply very quickly to questions per email and follow up the appointments very quickly too!
Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
