He arrived at 8am and made it through immigration by 9am. He would have been done earlier, but, his sister decided he needed to bring food stuff, she packed all type of food in his bags smoked fish, dried shrimp, casava and maggie cubes. All these items were taken when they x-rayed his bag and did a manual search, this held him up about 15 minutes. |

Embassy Review : |
His interview was at 7am, we arrived a little late at 7:45am. The bad part was that he was the last person interviewed that day, so, his interview did not begin until after 5pm. Yes we were there for over 9 hours. His interview began with the regular questions: how did you meet?, where does she work? what does she do for a living?, how many times has she been to Nigera? and what they focused on more was when was the last time she was here? Well, when she got to that part she totally focused on the fact that zi came to Nigeria for the interview. I had given him my passport to show my entry stamp. The interviewer was quit empressed that I was there. For evidence we had 2 photo albums aobut 300 pics plus 200 loose pictures from our last visit that would not fit into the albums. Well, the albums were small but would not fit through the slot in the window. He showed the interviewer the loose pictures, she began walking around showing our pictures to other employees in the embassy. After they had went through all the pictures she made positive comments and told my fiance that he was approved, and she jokingly said "welcome to the United States, and that he should come back in three days to pick up his visa. He arrived to the embassy at the assigned time and his visa was ready, he was out of the embassy in 10 minutes.
There was another K1 filer interview at the embassy, he had arrived at 7am, so, his interview was right before my fiance. He was also approved and told to come back in three days. When my fiance went to pick up his visa, he ran into the other guy. The guy had also been approved, but, when he arrived to pick up his visa they told him it was not ready, and that he should come back in another 3 days.
Overallour experience with the interview process was ok but, our outcome was great. the only complaint we had was the time it took before he was intervied almost 9 hours. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
