ALL GLORY & PRAISE BELONG TO ALLAH. Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah. 11 months on our case felt waiting for decades on case#, then review for docs then interview letter. once get the interview date the afraid about interview results.. overall very tough journey. but finally it's over now.
Alhamdulillah my husband had his interview early today and got approved at Islamabad embassy in Pakistan. interview time 8:30am. went to first building at 6am. embassy called in applicant at 7:30 for 8:30 interview, went in. took ticket for shuttle. reached at final diplomatic embassy at around 8am. got token, done biometrics submitted medical, original birth & marriage certificates, passport and passport size photos. around 10am husband was called for interview. An American male & local interpreter was there to interview. Questions asked;
1. Who is petitioning you.
2. How long has it been since marriage?
3. How long you both stayed together?
4. Did she came back to visit you after marriage?
5. Show me your wedding photos?
6. Do you guys have any child?
7. Have you ever travel out of Pakistan? note: ( in this case we feel so lucky that we got approved, because I did all my husband's paperwork my own "i.e.. I130, I130A and visa application form" . I unintentionally ignored my husband's visit to London. He went to London on study visa for 4 years. I never provided his London address on paperwork. However, we got UK pcc for safe side. Co did ask for his UK pcc at the interview, after reviewing pcc, stated you are approved and pick up passport in 2 weeks. Alhamdulillah
I really want to thank all VJ members who helped to understand the process when needed. |

Timeline Comments: 1After how many days you got your passport with stamped visa after interview?
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
