Consulate Review: Madrid, Spain
Review Topic: General Review
Event Description
Review Date : December 31, 2018
Embassy Review : My interview was really smooth and easy. I got there around 1 hour before my interview. They called me to go to a window and provide the documents that are needed and about 10 minutes later they called me for the interview.
These are the questions I was asked:
- Tell me about your relationship.
- How did yall meet?
- Does he knows your family?
- What do your family think about your relationship?
- What does he does for a living? What do youdo for a living?
- What do you like and don’t like about him?
- When was the last time you saw each other?
- Why did you decide to get married?
- What’s the wedding plan?

After all that, she told me I was approved and expect to get ny visa in hand within 10 days, but actually it took 16 days to receive the visa.
Rating : Good

Hi, I am waiting for packet 3 in Madrid embassy and I see that your interview was very close to the reception of packet 4, Did you schedule the interview before packet 4 or after? I just want to make things faster! Thanks.

Hi Indira - I had a similar question to the above , packet 3 was delivered to the Madrid embassy last Tuesday , they informed us that the beneficiary should schedule his interview after receiving their authorization to do so. Do you happen to know if this can take weeks? Thanks so much!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
