For your Dublin’s entry, did you transfer from terminal 1 to terminal 2? If so, did you have to go through Dublin’s standard airport security again or was it a pathway within secured zones? Did you have to collect bags and recheck in Dublin before preclearance? At preclearance did you have to use the kiosk or just tell a person you had a K-1 before getting to the non citizen desk? Were the flight connections people around to help smooth transfers at deplaning in Dublin?
My fiancé is considering going through Dublin from Cardiff and is curious about all this. Thanks!

Hi, I came down from Belfast so no transfer at Dublin. At preclearance you go through another security line (like when you arrive at the airport), then you join the line. I went to the desk as normal, handed over my paperwork and then was led into a separate processing area. I didn't need to flag my paperwork until that point but it was pretty obvious as I was carrying it with me. Tuesdays and Wednesdays seem to be pretty quiet there and everything is well sign posted, but I would allow a lot of time for a connection just in case.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
