TB test positive after 6.5 weeks, moving to Manila for treatment in January 2019.... the saga continues!

Treatment for TB began in January, due to many holidays the treatment will not be complete until late July. Another 8 week sputum culture will be conducted after the final day of treatment (not sure why this is needed as they conduct the sputum test every month after the third month of treatment), We continue trying to be patient....

Update - July 7, 2019 - coming up on final weeks of medical treatment to abate TB. All tests have been coming back negative. Will need to wait 2 months for final sputum test results after last day of medical treatment and then an additional two weeks for all the vaccinations. Hopefully my wife and daughter will be able to travel to US in mid to late October 2019. This as been a long expensive journey, however, as in all things --- anything good is worth waiting for.

Final Sputum test negative, re-take physicals on Oct 9, 2019... Wife scheduled interview on Oct 11, 2019. Interview went well. Told to wait 2 - 4 weeks for Visa (not sure why the delay), wife pleaded to have case flagged and expedited so we can get our daughter back in school, was told it would be flagged and expediated.. Not holding my breath....

Oh dang this must have been tough!
Did you guys finally make it through and got the VISA? I was curious when you actually got it after your interview.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
