Congratulations! Happy for you! Did you meet your fiancee online like I did?

Thank you, sorry I'm only just seeing your comment. Sort of, we met on a game called Clash of Clans haha!

Are you going to be booking your Medical exam and interview before receiving packet 3 from the embassy?
Mrs. M on 2019-05-01 said:
Yeah, he's booked his medical and his interview now. I don't think you have to wait to receive anything from the Embassy to book your appointments, as long as you have all the documents they require (Police Cert etc.). He booked his medical with the case number we received from NVC and he just booked his interview now that NVC has sent our petition to London. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions, I think you're on the same timeline as us.

When you went to your Medical exam did you take the attachment on the email sent to you from the NVC which has your case number on it?
And how long did it take from when they told you your case was ready for you to receive a letter from the Embassy?
Thank you!!!
Mrs. M on 2019-05-06 said:
Yes, he took the attachment from the email the medical center sent him. The only thing he received from the Embassy so far is the confirmation of his interview date that he scheduled when he paid for the visa and chose the delivery method. He was able to book the interview once our status changed to in transit. The embassy received our paperwork from NVC last week and the status changed to ready the day after he scheduled his interview.

Do you know how you'll get all your belongings over to the US, or a good shipping company? I'm taking as much as I can on the aeroplane but I don't know how I'll get the rest shipped over there.

He's only bringing some of his clothes and some important documents, so I'm not sure about shipping companies. Sorry. I do recall seeing a few discussions about it in the UK forum though.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
