Hi, my fiance is from Jamaica also. If you dont mind me asking, what did they want b.v for your RFE. I'm/we are nervous and waiting. Our paperwork li ro is in Laguana Nigel, CA

Certified copies of all my divorce documents. I had to divorce my exhusband twice they wanted to know why 2 divorces with no marriage in between .. I sent the 2 divorce decrees with my application but not the magistrates decision to overturn the 1st divorce

Ok. Ok. Thank you. We send divorce decree an absolute for him so fingers crossed. They answered quickly. Good luck as you continue.

They updated the system to RFE request received same day they received it from USPS.. We got NOA2 exactly 1 week later

Can I beg you to keep me up-to-date. Watching your timeline hard. Happy Sunday luv. Thanks for sharing.

No problem..did u get RFE?.. Also if u on facebook we have a group with women that are going through the process with a yardie or have completed the process if interested? What part if Jamaica is your fiance?

No RFE. Just nervous...just 176 days in. I dont use my FB anymore. Woulda been nice tho. Information cant be too much. He is in kingston.

172 days, sorry

Oh ok...nice!! Im sure you'll get NOA2 anyday now.. We knew we would get RFE. It didn't hit me to send the magistrates decision until i had mailed it..then it was too late.. But life happens..most people are getn them exactly 6 months!!!! Let me know when u get it.. Sending positive vibes that you'll get it in next 2 weeks!!!

Aww. Thank you. Getting ready on my end. If all goes well he should be here mid january

Hi, my fiance is also from Jamaica. What is the name of the fb group if you don't mind me asking? It would be great to connect with other people going through this process! Thanks in advance!

Congratulations as well!!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
