Alhamdullilah, overall experience was good. The wait time is a bit long but it is understood as the embassy is really busy.
The interview questions were testing my fiancee (beneficiary) knowledge about me (US petitioner). They asked about my kid's name, asked questions about my previous marriage/divorce, the nature of my current work and the reason for getting married in the US.
The interview was given in Urdu and the CO was very professional and polite. |

Had a wonderful experience at the San Diego Office.
We arrived 30 mins ahead of our scheduled interview and were called in 10 mins ahead of the scheduled time.
After taking the oath, the officer checked the photocopies with original documents. Asked about how we met and how we know each other. Asked a lot of questions from the i-485 application and some from the K-1 application. The office was very thorough but polite and professional. We were done in about 45 mins and approved. Alhamdullilah.

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
