Comments : When hubby arrived and went through customs at Dallas (DFW) airport, the agent didn't ask questions. He just took the envelope, went to the back to enter the information in the system, came back to stamp his passport, then welcomed him to the US. That's it. The 2 hour wait time was only due to the long line of people.

Permanent Residence and SN Card coming soon.

Event Description

Embassy Review : My husband's interview went very smoothly. It was at 9:00am, and not taking any chances, he was there by 8:00am, but had to walk around a little because they weren't ready. He came back around 8:30 and had his interview at around 8:45. When he arrived, he was met by an officer who took everything of his, except proof of bonafide marriage, such as pictures, messages, and phone logs. I didn't even have to submit it via CEAC, either. She said that would be for the interviewer who, also, didn't want them. He tried though, because our pictures were cute lol. The interview was held at window. He raised his right hand to be sworn in, and was asked questions like:

How did you two meet?
When did you and your wife get married?
Where was she born?
Where does she live?
What does she do for work?
Who is the co-sponsor? (My dad, who was also one of the witnesses to our marriage)
Have either of you been married before?
Any children?

That was it...quick 15-20 minutes! Hubby answered all correctly, without hesitation! Approved! The staff was very nice!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
