Very smooth experience.
Day 1. Blood tests/X-ray - long lines, but as expected
Day 2. Medical with Dr. Denis - very friendly doc, nice experience overall.
Day 3. Biometrics - long line but smooth experience
Day 4. interview
Arrived an hour early alone (my spouse didn't travel to Colombia for the interview). Was separated into the K1/Immigrant visa line. documents were checked for completeness by a local staff member. Once inside the embassy courtyard, I went initially to the window for the "document submission". I gave in the docs I had (one doc missing from I-864 that the NVC had requested, my birth cert, marriage cert, updated police report, my spouse's US passport copy, and our 2017 tax return (when docs submitted to visa center, the IRS filing deadline had not yet passed, so we submitted the 2016 return) . Once that was all taken care of, was given a number and then sat down. I waited around an hour, and then was called up again. Very nice female interviewer. She had all of the documentation submitted with the I-130 (we had a lot), and she commented that it was one of the largest packets of supporting documentation she'd seen anyone submit (we were very thorough).
Questions were related to:
1) My prior time in the USA - I'd been a student and then on a work visa
2) What my degree was in
3) Where I worked and where my spouse worked
4) Where we met
5) When we married
6) Had either of us been married before
I'd brought a lot of additional documentation but she didn't ask for any of it.
Once the questions were over she told me "welcome to the United States", gave me the welcome letter, the domestic violence leaflet and that was it.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
