No problems using it. Better get extra copies for people in your home country since they got little nervous. |

Got two biometrics, one on 10/7 and one on 10/29. I went the second time on 10/20 due to travel reasons. My fingerprints were bad on the first appointment and i got a letter for the second one without additional cost. |

I got today my visa approved. I made a really nice and well organized folder but the window of the consulate was like a bank, i had to take every document out of the folder. The lady did not care about the letter of the bank, the employer and the pay roles I have. And the evidence she took was only before we got engaged!
The only things they were concerned was if had overstayed any visit in the U.S. has i had a lot of trips and I told them that i never overstayed. When it came to the Consul, things keep really easy. She asked me how we met, if for both was going to be the first marriage, if i had lived in any other country, how long i stayed in U.K, how long was my longest stay in the U.S. and i do not remember any more questions. I though we were going to have a red flag coz my fiance is almost 17 years older than me, but no question at all.
The interview took 7 min more or less, the waiting like 3 hours and 190 days for having this interview. Just waiting now for having the visa in hand.
In front of the Consulta are plenty of stores that take passport pictures and there is one opened since 6 am.

Not harassment at all. I entered with my fiance, the US citizen in the visitors line. The only question asked was how we met. He answered that in Colombia while working and the official answer like a joke no, you are kidding, you just decided to get married or something like that, to what my fiance answered yeap, sure.
The guy didnt know about the SSN when i asked him, the only thing he know was the 90 days to get married. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
