Hi! Did you wait for the eligibilty letter / instruction letter before you set an interview date? May i know how long did you receive it after your case status changed to ready? Thanks in advance! :)

Hi Ms Peggy,
No, I did not need to. All you need to set the interview is your MNL number and paying the visa fee. I've been hearing mixed messages about the eligibility letter being asked for at the interview itself, but I'm not able to confirm it as we haven't had our interview yet. Sorry!

Thank you so much for replying! :) i wanted to schedule our interview too even if we dont have the letter yet but our lawyer advises us to wait for it. :( Thanks again! Have a great day! Goodluck on the interview :)

Thank you! And to answer your other question, I received our eligibility letter by email approximately 11 days after our case turned to Ready in CEAC. So I would say if you wanted to schedule your interview, to set it at least 2 weeks out so you'd likely have your letter by then.
I set our interview last Wednesday and I can tell you that there aren't many dates left available in November and October (I can send you a screenshot if you'd like), so I would say you should schedule something as soon as possible.

I Crono_Clone, Happy New Year! We had the same interview date, I think you gave us a spin after your approval.
( At least I think that was you :D ) Anyways I am wondering if you have gotten any tracking info with 2g0 yet, We're still waiting on ours, we have to wait a few more days due to the holidays.

Happy New Year! You might have met my fiance then (I'm the petitioner and I'm currently in the US)!
We haven't gotten any tracking information yet either, and the CEAC status tracker seems to have been malfunctioning the last few days. Hopefully it will get fixed after the holidays are all over.

Hi there.... how was your AOS interview ? What kind of evidence of bonafide marriage did you guys ended up bringing with you at the interview? Thanks In advance ! 😊

Hi AGF,
Our interview went well, though we have yet to receive our green card because USCIS appears to be missing our medical packet.
As for our interview itself, the officer asked my husband the basics -- when he arrived in the U.S, when we got married, and our current address. He did not ask to see any of our evidence because he thought our case was easy and straightforward (no kids, no divorce, no criminal records, etc). We did bring a few pieces of evidence such as joint bank accounts, credit cards, joint benefits, photos together with friends and family, etc. But again, none of it was seen by the officer.

Hi. I just noticed you have been over 2 years since your marriage, Did you get a conditional green card? and have you processed to remove the conditions? Thanks in advance.
Crono_clone on 2021-05-07 said:
Hi Kpii00. Yes, we received a conditional green card for 2 years. We haven't started to remove conditions yet because the card doesn't expire until Feb 2022, so I'll likely start the process in September of this year.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
