Hi Hamish, my name is James i'm currently going through the same process as you with the K1 visa.
I see in your profile you are moving to Milwuakee Wisconsin? thats were my fiance lives and i am planning to move there also. I have received notification that NVC has sent my case to Sydney but no word from Sydney yet. Would be great to chat further and keep in touch with a fellow Aussie moving to the land of cheese and beer!
regards, James.

Thanks guys, sorry I've been tardy with my replies, I was quite busy sorting out the delay with my medical report and getting everything ready for the move. My visa was just approved today after being in Admin Processing for 3 weeks, but we finally got tit done!
James, its good to hear that there's another Aussie gonna be in the area, my fiancee and I are actually going to be living in Port Washington, I assume you probably already know where that is, I just put Milwaukee on my timeline cause its the closest city.
I'll probs be in WI before you so I'll let you know when I arrive and we can deffo keep in touch if you would like.
Cheers
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
