Oath Ceremony : 2010-06-23
Comments : The interview was fast and easy. I think I was just in the office for 15 minutes. Then the IO gave me the paper that says he recommends me to become a citizen. And he said to wait for the letter regarding the oath taking.
Yesterday was the oath taking and it was very solemn. It was well done and congratulations to everyone who sworn with me. Although my journey is over, I still have to hang out here for my mom's visa application. Thanks to visajourney for making it all possible!

Embassy Review : we had our interview on may 31st..got there very early for our 7:15 appointment..so we went to the close-by mc donalds & had some breakfast..after that still haave a lot of time we waited in the parking lot ,my husband reading the newspaper ,myself checking if i bring everything i need..
then we went in..we put the appointment letter on the tray & waited for 5 to 7 mins & an officer came out & called my name..
she showed us the way to her office ,swore us in & stated her name..she ask me questions about my application..the infomation i wrote on the forms i submitted..& then she ask my husband where we met, how long he had his contractors liscence ..she keeps talking about construction bussiness that made me at ease 'coz she's so personable..after that she ask for wedding pics which we don't have..so she just ask me the stuff i have with both our names on it & the same address..so i gave her our phonebills, gym membership, costco, major purchases with both names, filipino movie rentals, checkbook..before she look at it, she explains first about the conditional residency & that we have to remove conditions 90 days before my GC expires..so i was thinking "this is it"..after that she stamp my passpot with I-551 & ask for my EAD card..she said the GC will arrive in two weeks or so..i was so happy..she is awesome & very nice..
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
