I see that you are going through the NVC process pretty quickly. Do you have any tips? Thank you!

I wish I were... We’ve actually had issues with our paperwork and are under a supervisor review. The only thing I can say for sure that I did make a mistake on is to be sure that all your paperwork can be read horizontally when the pdf is opened. Our police certificate was uploaded horizontally and they kicked it back. And, any translations should be combined as one pdf with the original. I uploaded my husband’s birth certificate and translation separately and it also got kicked back.

Thank you! We got approved from USCIS on Aug 6th - they sent to NVC on the 17th and then NVC recieved on the 24th. I called today, but we still do not have a case number. As you go along the process, any tips would be appreciated. :)
Best to you!!

Did you have any problems with the RCMP certificate mess? They changed the rules on Monday and everything is in chaos for those with pending interviews. Glad your case is closed though. My case in almost to be sent to NVC. Hope by Monday.

I didn't get any kick back fortunately from the NVC on the background check. I'm curious along with everyone else what the consulate actually has to say. I know there's a few people that are still posting on here and they said they have interviews in the next week. Hopefully some guidance will be given as to if it only hold for those that are starting the process for the NVC, or if they want everyone as of the 10th to have an updated version and require it at the interview if not given during the NVC stage. What a mess....

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
