Comments : Agent's system didn't seem to cooperate very well and another agent was showing her how to bypass some of the input entries on her computer. It seemed like it was messy, and it's now come as no surprise that they failed to send the medical docs to USCIS.

Comments : Did not require an interview or biometrics for this one, just waited a long time for the updated GC to get issued. In the interim, they had sent two different documents. The first one, a few weeks after we filed in April 2022, stated that the GC was expired, but with that document, it would still be valid for another 2 years from the date of expiration. The second letter came over a year later and said the same thing, except it extended the date of the GC expiration by 48 months, presumably to give themselves plenty of time to process the updated GC.

Local US CIS Office Review: Salt Lake City UT

Event Description

Embassy Review : The interviewing agent did a great job and was very easy to work with. He asked several basic questions about us and my wife's adjustment here to the U.S. He was very relaxed and casual and made sure not to cause any undue pressure. He then asked a long series of required questions to my wife and then asked for some additional documents. The only complaint is that CPB didn't send her sealed medical envelope to USCIS, so he wasn't able to approve her right away. Aside from that, everything went great and I thought they did a very good job of handling the interview.
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
