be prepared for long customs and immigrations wait times and plan flights accordingly. Fortunately for us, my fiancé had a direct flight from London to Orlando so their was no connection onward from Orlando. With Orlando being such a popular tourist destination the wait lines for immigration were very long, and then when you finally make it to the officer you are taken to secondary to go over the visa. Give yourself at least a 3 hour connection window from Orlando. |

Was a pretty straight forward and easy interview! They only asked a few questions because my fiancé was over prepared and had all of the proper documentation which made things easier for them. He was in and out of the interview in about 30 minutes. We were told that we were approved pending his medical results (which had not arrived yet from Knightsbridge doctors despite our appointment being 5 business days after the medical). So just keep that in mind when you book your interview in London. I would suggest giving 7-8 business days in between the interview and the medical! |

Embassy Review : |
Hi everyone! We just had our interview yesterday at this field office and wanted to write a review that will hopefully help you out!
We were applying for AOS based on marriage (my husband arriving on a K-1 visa). Both of us attended the interview. We arrived 30 minutes early but we were allowed through security and into the waiting room. The woman at the reception desk told us we could not check in until 15 minutes before our interview. Once we checked in we were given a number and returned back to the waiting room. About 30 minutes later our immigration officer came to get us from the waiting room and walked us back to his office. He was incredibly friendly which calmed my nerves tremendously. After we were sworn in he asked us to present proof of relationship documents that we brought with us, our marriage certificate, and our IDs. He then took the fingerprints and photos of my husband. He went through our photos that we brought, cards, vows, and more formal proofs like insurance policies, bank statements, and our lease agreement. He was pleased with what we brought as sufficient proof of relationship.
After this he started asking us questions like when was our wedding date, why did my husband want to move to america, where did I go to school, how did we meet etc. He also wrote down everything that we said in our file. Once the questions about our relationship were done he went back through our I-485 application making sure everything was filled out and correct. After this he told us we were approved and kindly explained the ROC process and Naturalization process. He even asked us if we had any questions. It was nice to not feel rushed and to be able to get questions about when the green card would arrive and when to submit ROC answered.
Overall it was a wonderful experience. We were very pleased with all of the staff at this field office. The security guards were kind and witty, the receptionist was patient and friendly, and our officer was very kind. The facility was beautifully maintained and we were very pleased with our day there. I hope this review helps!

Timeline Comments: 1Nice timeline filled out accurately!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
