Consulate Review: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : June 10, 2018
Embassy Review : I got my interview on may 30th, the process was super easy, there are two guys helping everyone to organize the papers and get in line to start the process. First you are called to a booth to have a documentation check, and in this part they keep your docs. Then you go back to the line and wait to be called by your name, I was asked a few questions, how we met, where we met, if we both have been to each other countries and if we had wedding plans. I had the 8am appointment, got there at 7:30, left at 9. Everyone was very polite and all the process was very easy. After 8 months waiting this was like a "what, it's done?" Moment.
Rating : Very Good

Hello Ana. Do you mind filling in your CIS office for EAD and AP please? We have very similar timelines. Thank you!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
