Port of Entry Review
Event Date
Port of Entry : San Francisco
POE Date : 2008-09-21 Submit Review
Got EAD Stamp : No
Biometrics Taken : Yes
Harassment Level : 0
Comments : Asked for EAD stamp and explained what that was and was told by the guy at the counter that he didn't know what I was talking about but that I could talk with a supervisor if I wanted. So we finished with POE and went to talk with a supervisor. He was VERY nice!! There were 4 people waiting at the office and the supervisor was standing at the side of the desk talking with someone when we walked up looking like we didn't know what to do. So he asked us what we wanted and helped us RIGHT AWAY. We went to his office and he looked over all our paperwork (called the desk guy to tell him he didn't write the A number in the correct spot) and then told us he'd never heard of any EAD stamp. He wished us well and told us we look like a very happy couple etc... and we were on our way.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
