My fiance and i met online (2017), dated a short period of time and got engaged. I made a total of 3 trips to Morocco and this whole process took a total of 9 to 10 months; start to finish. Everyone says the Casablanca Consulate is hard, but if you submit a strong case, have no red flags, and you are truly in love then you should be fine. I can only speak from our experience. Everything had a smooth sailing for us. |

Our overall experience was pleasant. My fiance had his interview June 1st and we were approved the same day, and he received his passport the following week (check timeline). He said the CO looked over our file and the pictures he brought with him and a commented that we were a "beautiful couple". He asked:
How did you meet your fiance?
What does she do for a living?
What do you want to do for work?
What do you two talk about?
Did her family come here?
The interview took about 10 minutes. We are very blessed to have had a good experience considering all the bad comments we have read. My fiance and i are the same age. I am Christian;he is Muslim , of course. We both have never been married and no children from any previous relationship.
We wish everyone the best on their journey. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
