Comments : We were scheduled for our interview for January 24, 2019 but in the medical examination they claimed she showed something in her x-ray for tuberculosis. She had to go back to St. Lukes for a sputum test and then wait three months for the result. There were at least 20 people that had to do the same, what a racket. Of course after three months the results were negative so at that point we could then schedule another appointment for the interview. They would not let you schedule an appointment until they had the results. By that time all the interview dates were taken were within a month so we waited for another six weeks. After the interview she had to go to a class before she was able to get her visa where the people there did their best to convince her she was making a mistake and threatened her that they had the power to deny her visa which of course is not true.

Comments : Our original interview date was March 20, 2020. We showed up at the USCIS office to see a note on the door, "Temporarily closed due to Covid-19. Rescheduling guidance can be found on appointment notices." They never sent us a letter telling us about the cancelation of the interview and never recieved anything until the new appointment letter in October.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
