Hi Georgie, I finally made it to the US and got married on Wednesday. Now the nightmare starts with I-130/485/765/131. I am not sure where to start. Would really appreciate some pointers on this process.
Regards
Deon

Oh, congratulations! So happy that you finally made it! Welcome to the US :)
I’d start by filling out the I-485, I-765 and the I-131. Sandra will also need to fill out the I-134 again (the Affidavit of Support). You’ll need to get copies of everything again (i.e. passport, recent payslips, and you’ll need more passport style photos to submit with most of the forms.
It sounds a lot more daunting than it is, but f you follow the form instructions on the USCIS website, it should guide you through it.
I am always happy to help though! If you want to reach out for a chat about it, my number is 512-567-8380.
Congratulations again!!!

Hi. I am very curious as to what you did because I am in the exact same boat as you - only I have already applied for my K1 visa. I work in IT and I think it shouldn't be that difficult for me to get an offer of employment for an E3 (already have companies interested) BUT I have already applied for a K1. What did you end up doing in the end?
BTW congratulations on your wedding and visas!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
