The first submission of AOS for my K1 and K2 son were rejected, the USCIS made mistake think my son is from an Family Relative visa I130 visa and returned all my application and money, we respond back explaining is K2 and sent his visa stamp and i94 as proof along with the paperwork from previous submission. Then we got NOA1 telling us for the biometric on 19 June. After biometric I got a RFE 31 July 2019 asked for my birth certificate and the translation even tho I did already submitted before, maybe uscis made mistake and asked again? Or maybe asking again to make sure the document they had is correct... anyway, that’s ok, So we respond it on August 6 using usps express, the mail receipt received on August 7 and now we are waiting for the next response of step AOS last notif is August 8 saying the received our RFE answer and NBC continue to process. I have a good interview AOS and approved on Feb 13 2020 |

I have pleasant admin and interview process.
The lady at admin is pleasant and very organized. She likes that I prepare my paperwork in meticulous way.
I made 1 original and 1 copy separate binder. But to make me easy get doc out from the case better put Original in front of the copy. Asked for IRS tax transcripts 2018 return the 2017 take the W2. Doesn’t look to my big bundles 1040 and W2. Prepare your original divorce decree. Take the affidavit original and copy. Asked my birth certificate but doesn’t take the sworn translation one, just look. Take my and son’s passport. Fee pay k1 and k2 Original deposit bank payment.
Give me the information for genital mutilation and domestic abuse, asked me to read it regardless I have print it and read it on my file.
Interview part at window 7. He review the petition doc he has, take my oath. Finger prints. Told me about the domestic abuse and we are still covered by US law. Ask me throughly on how I met how we communicate how we start relationship. Why I love my fiancé. How he proposed. Ask my proof on going relationships. Do you have chat logs or calls? I have and give him. Do you have pictures. And he looked to our pictures and engagement party with family. Asked my son what gift at Christmas? Where we going to leave? What school we going to attend? What grade he will be. Looked at pictures of my fiancé and my son and mum. These are lovely pictures. Congratulations your visa being approved |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
