POE Miami. Yessi did not spend a lot of time in immigration. They reviewed her documents for about 10 minutes, did not ask her any questions, and gave her documents back to her with her visa stamped and said welcome to the United States. |

Yessi said the interview was not difficult. We had prepared a lot of documentation but they did not even look at half of it. She said both the Venezuelan and the American officer were very nice, pleasant, and polite. She said they asked her about what my job is, where I work, If I have children and their ages, how we met, how many times we met, the relationship between her son and I and my daughter and her, and what our wedding plans are. She said she thinks our photos, printed facebook pages with photos and comments, and printed What's App conversations between her and I, her and my daughter, and myself and her son also helped a lot. All in all she said it was a good experience and she advised that, even though it is nerve racking, try to remain calm. or at least appear to be calm. She said the actual interview took about 10 minutes. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
