Embassy Review : |
What an amazing experience. I’m fortunate to have such a wonderful experience at Knightsbridge and the Embassy. Ok, so as your reading this (like me before having massive eye rolls at how many people say the Embassy level is relatively easy)-it truely is! Let your love shine no matter whether your doing a K1/CR 1!
So, my appointment was 11am. I was shivering outside and they let us (Jake and I) in at 10.25am. Jake, the petitioner just had to present his US passport and confirm he was the petitioner.
We went to reception. Got sticker with a number on it. Took lift and went to appropriate area. My number was flashing as soon as I went in. Just had to give 1 US passport photo , I 134, ACRO, original birth certificate, 3 recent pay stubs. Asked when I wanted to go to US, had I been married before. Over in few minutes. Was giving my X Ray.
Sat down for 10 minutes. Number called again. Went to booth and CO called Jake over without me even asking if he could come over. Was amazing. She was middle aged. Such a wonderful lady. Done my Oath. Asked if I ever had trouble with immigration/police, where we met, where would I live. She complimented us on our regular travels back and forth. Told me everything was in order and said congratulations and was delighted to be issuing the visa. I nearly fell to my knees as everyone knows how much strength is required for this process. What a wonderful experience. True love prevails. Love always wins. |

Timeline Comments: 2Congrats! What a beautiful story! I can't wait for the same fairy tale with my partner Christopher and I in a few months! <3
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
