It went smoothly. There is a little bit of a wait, but if you have all your documents ready to go, it doesn’t take long. Way too long a wait but consul was super nice and hardly asked me anything. The whole interview lasted maybe a minute. Took almost a month to receive visa in hand. Rio embassy is extremely slow and frustrating that you can’t get in touch with anyone. Status on CEAC takes way too long to be updated. Rio is slow!!!! Processing Estimates/Stats : Your I-129f was approved in 175 days from your NOA1 date. Your interview took 273 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

No waiting time. Empty office. No issues. Ready to schedule interview text on 10/03/2018 AOS Interview was very simple. Both of us were called in together. All we did was go over the security questions on the form submitted earlier. Asked us if we wanted to submit any new evidence. We had a packet ready and turned it in. He said we were recommended for approval and that I should receive greencard in the mail soon after they send the approvals in. Nothing really to it. Just super easy. The whole thing took maybe 10 minutes. Greencard being produced text message on 02/05/2019.

It took several calls and emails to several congressmen and senators to get expedite finally approved. USCIS is of no help when getting information. Fax machine doesn’t work to send supporting docs. Ended up having to snail mail supporting docs. Processing Estimates/Stats : Your EAD was approved in 117 days.

No greencard issued because N400 was approved at the same time. No interview needed.

Appt. : Interview Date : 2022-10-27 Approved : Yes Oath Ceremony : 2023-05-10 Comments : This website didn’t let me post the actual date of my NOA but it was 9-22-22. It took them a long time to send it out. Also took forever to approve this after interview because removal of conditions was so delayed. It took several requests to the senators office for every NOA to get things moving. USCIS is so slow. Certificate received. All finished. Will be retiring this profile.

Consulate Review: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Review Topic: K1 Visa Event Description Review Date : March 17, 2018 Embassy Review : This consulate processing times are frakking ridiculous. Approved at interview on a simple straight forward case and it still takes 3 weeks to receive visa. Ridiculous!!!! After being issued it sits there for days before getting sent out. Brazil is extremely frustrating for its laziness and this is just the rotten cherry on top of the melted ice cream. Rating : Very Poor
