Event Description
Review Date : November 16, 2018
Embassy Review : Very easy straightforward process. Was in and out of the embassy in less than an hour.

Had documents checked then waited for interview. Interview consisted of a few simple questions - how did I meet my husband, where does he live (town and type of house/apartment), and his job. I was asked if I had had my medical yet, which I hadn't - I was 34 weeks pregnant at the time of interview and made it clear that I wasn't going to have the medical until after the baby was born (because of the risks associated with the chest x-ray). The person interviewing was very understanding about this and it was not an issue that my medical was going to be 8-10 weeks after the interview (and still wasn't set in stone as I wasn't sure when the baby would arrive!).

I was told that my visa was approved pending the medical and that was it!

Interview was 14th August.
Medical was 17th October

Confirmation that the Visa Medicals people had sent my results to the embassy - 26th October

Visa granted 28th October
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
