Border security at Blaine, WA (Peace Arch) was very accommodating and, in fact, glad to see us crossing the border and congratulated us several times. |

AoS Interview took less than an hour. Interviewer was very amiable and went through/updated the I-485 info and only asked for cohabitation/relationship evidence after POE. We were told that we will hear from them if they need more evidence and, if approved, will get card in 2 to 4 weeks. I checked my MSC# on the USCIS website 3 hrs after the interview and it says “My new card is being produced.†|

Spent about 1.25 hours from entry to exit at the consulate.
The laminated sheet given on the ground floor did not list the evidence of relationship and was not asked at the submission and interview windows.
I submitted the visa/border police certificate with fingerprints and was not asked for the one under privacy act.
Interview was easy. They still use a neon pink sheet to welcome you to the US. |

R.Q. on 2018-10-26 said: This is K1 application so we used the I-134, not the I-864. The latter will be used for Adjustment of Status.
Will you receive the 10 yr GC?
R.Q. on 2021-03-04 said: @joan58 thank you. I did receive a 10-year gc
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
