Hi every one,
Interview of my daughter in law was ( 9:00 am ) on 14th Dec. 2017. She reached at shuttle station around 8:05 am , her brother was with her so she left her cell phone etc with her brother and bought the car ticket as there were huge people in bus Q.
She reached 8:45 am at Embassy of United States.
After some security process and obtaining token number she enter the Embassy.
Then she was guided to approach different counters to submit original documents such as Passport, Birth certificate, police certificate Etc.
She preferred interview in English language and at 11:05am her token number appear on tv screen .
She approach the counter, very friendly and polite American lady was behind the counter and asked her name with smiling face.
Next few questions were very ordinary such as:
Who is calling you. ( Ans : my husband Zeshan Javed ).
Who arranged this marriage . ( Ans : our parents )
Did your hasband visit you after marriage . ( Ans: he will come to take me with him this coming February ),
Do you have marriage pictures. ( Ans yes I have some and showed pictures )
CO looked only three pictures and asked the relationship of the persons in the pictures.
CO congratulate and ask for finger prints again.
Interview over in 3 to 4 minutes
CO inform her that within two week your passport will be mailed at your given address.
My daughter in law received passport and packet on Dec. 16 2017.
Please be noted that marriage took place on Nov. 13 2016, My son return back USA on Nov. 27 2016
Petition was mailed on Nov. 28 2017 and receipt date was Dec. 2 2016.
Case was handle by Nebraska service Center where they approved the petition on Aug. 7 2017
Nation Visa Center received the case on Aug. 16. 2017 ,
All the required documents were mailed in one envelop on Sep. 14 2017.
We received email on Nov. 13 2017 with interview schedule date.
Total time : one year and 12 days
