Medical Exam Info for:
Dr. Alexandra Ange
The Consultants Practice
The Children’s Practice
25 Raymond Njoku
Ikoyi
Lagos
-Medical Exam is done between 8am-10am, M-F no appt needed. If you come after this time, they will turn you away b/c they "close" by 10am, and will not take any new people and tell you to come back the next day. There really wasnt a long line of people waiting by 8am.
-Next, they will give you a bank slip and advise you to go pay at the needed bank close by (100k).
-Once you come back, they give you a form to fill out, with your name, address, etc of you and fiance(e), once complete, they give you a number.
-Your number is called and you go to a room, strip down to undies/panties and do x-ray; once complete, get dressed and back to waiting room.
-They call you again to a different room where you collect your blood and urine, after that they determine if you need vaccines. My fiancee didnt have any, so it was 10k to get the needed vaccines. She had to go to the bank again and pay the additional 10k and back to waiting room until its time for vaccines.
-Next, they call you to another room and you answer questions from doctor and he will check blood pressure and vision.
-After that, you go back to waiting room and then they advise to come back in two weeks (14 days) to get results packet.

very easy smooth interview, swore us in, asked name and DOB, verify our address, asked a few of the Yes/No questions from I-485, ask how we met, our "story" and then flipped through our photo album. Didn't ask to see any originals and then I finally asked if he wanted our Joint bank acct info and showing proof that shes on my health insurance. |

My fiancée shares the following:
I got there by 6:45 am and there were already lots of crowd. Joined the line for immigrants. Before they let us in we presented the ds160, medical packet and appointment letter next we went through all d screening and then after that we entered the interview hall. I was number 31 but 32 got called before me n i guess maybe coz she did finger prints before me. So when it got to my turn it was a korean guy that interviewed me (no wonder i so much love korean movies lol 😂) he was nice though but didn't smile 🙂 after the oath which i was asked to raise my right hand 🤚🼠he started with the questions.
1: tell me about your finace.
2: how did u two meet and when.
3: have u met ur fiance in person if yes when?
4: show me the pictures of you together.
5: why did u decide to get married in america and not nigeria.
6: how come u and your fiance met and decided to get married when he has no background or relatives in Nigeria. Number 6 though i know right? Lol. Well that was it and then he said congratulations ur visa is approved pls pick up ur packet and passport in 7 working days. So guys this is it, it was really worth the wait.
Two people got denied after almost 30 mins of interview and d reason is because they weren't straight with their answers and one thing i observed is if u give too much information it will cause them to ask u more questions so pls don't answer what u were not asked, just keep ur answers short n straight. Don't give too much information coz this will cause them to dig up more questions. Lastly, pls don't try to impress them with ur answers coz it will sound fishy to them and they will think ur being fake. This is what this two ppl did that got them denied. Good luck to u all. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
