Embassy Review : |
My husband arrived at embassy at 7:20am for his 8:30am appointment. Due to our case being expedited through the Us Embassy in Jamaica, my husband had join a separate line, he was called the first window where he was finger print & paid for DS-260. My husband was called to the second window about 14-30 minutes later.
He was aske the following 6 questions:
How we met?
Where do i work?
What’s my daughter name?
How old is my daughter?
How many children does my husband have?
When we got married?
After providing all of the documents including the affidavit of support with Copies of 3 years tax transcripts and W2 (1040Ez) the officer asked for some pictures, I provided my husband with on album of pictures mixed pictures wedding and trips we took going to locations on the island (YS Falls) etc, he was advice he was approved and given the domestic violence panel and was told he would have is passport back in a week. My advice is to provide has much evidence as you can because it better to be safe than sorry! Almost make sure you spouse have all there original documents, Jamaican marriage license and birth certificate are longer than average size paper so make sure when you copy your birth none of the serial numbers are cut off at the bottom, if I had not provided my husband with both our original birth certificate and marriage license we could have stated in AP for a while, Just an FYI there are two types of AP one means approved and one other documents are need....All the glory to god... ðŸ™ðŸ½ðŸ™ðŸ½ðŸ™ŒðŸ½ðŸ™ŒðŸ½ðŸ™ŒðŸ½ðŸ™ŒðŸ½

Timeline Comments: 5Hello!
Do you mind that I ask why/how you husbands case was expedited through the Embassy in Jamaica? I noticed yours moved faster than most that I have seen. The most frustrating wait (after the NOA2) seems to be from NVC approval to the interview date. How were you able to get yours so soon?
Thank you!

Hi, you mentioned the affidavit of support was it the original? Because my package request the original so the copy was the one I would take to my interview...
Hey sher I mail all of documents to my husband via DHS, I filled out the Affidavit I’d support On my computer and printed out and signed it and mailed it with all of my original documents to him they may except a copy depending on if it comes coming from the NVC stage or if it’s a copy of the one he sent but I know the embassy requires all original documents except for the petition, petition can send copy of the original documents but the beneficiary have to bring the original documents
I sent my tax transcripts And my W2 (ez)
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
