about 1 hour waiting separately; I could see her over there, but not allowed; I thought they were deny her passport; When she came over, she said they didn't ask anything.. just made phone call and someone tell them to approve; my guess: "don't mess with this guy anymore" from the director =) |

Embassy Review : |
she's here!! yay!! but after a scare at LAX.. at the customs window, she was told to get her fingerprints done, and then go to another place to get a second set done.. but after looking at the computer, he told her to go with a security guard to the "Adimissibility Review" room.. I followed along and sat in a separate section.. I overhead a person and his wife discussing with another officer that they kept questioning his wife for over 2-3 hours.. and if she doesn't pass, she has to stay in that room.. and possibly leave on the next flight out.. I started worrying about our case too.. then I saw that they led her to a different place again.. and I saw that it was for the "new immigrants".. she told me that they told her to go talk with a supervisor.. at first I thought it was big trouble on our case.. then others started showing in the line (about 15 people), and I figured they all couldn't have problems.. finally, she got the second set of fingerprints done, and received the "welcome to US" letter.. right now she has her IR1 visa stamp (temporary) valid for 1 year of multiple re-entries or until she receives green card.. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
