Consulate Review: Manila, Philippines
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : February 2, 2019
Embassy Review : From Antipolo to Manila we arrived at US EMBASSY Manila around 3:45am and my schedule is 6:15am yeah were early but its all good.
so I am with my mom and my K-2 i decided to bring my mom so she will wait for us outside and watch my staff.when we got there the vendor give us chair and we got surprise cause its not free i think that is 25 to 45 pesos per 1 chair ( that's there business), they also offer online DS160 and 2x2 photo but so expensive(350-450pesos) so make sure before you leave your house double check your papers
one thing electronic is not allowed some vendor offer to keep your phone or any gadget but who knows? much better dont bring your phone. (suggesting) .
so by 5:45am the US Embassy employer and guard calling for 6:15am schedule so were in 5 on the lane then on first they check my papers passport , DS160 , schedule of appointment then they gave me sticker with my name and bar code. they let me in and they assist us for checking bag and go to waiting area i think were in seat D. they tell us to prepared DS160, b-certificate, passport and brown envelope (from st.lukes) and 2x2 photo. first we went to window 39 for checking all papers and my photos then we went to window 46 and window 42(if im not mistaken) for bio metric. for my k-2 is easy- peasy cause she doesn't need to do biometric and interview but she must physical present they just ask simple things like her name, age, birthday as i remember the Filipino interviewer asked me if my k-2 know here name and birthdate but my k-2 answer it not me haha :D

the last interview is for the foreigner its in the right side corner, i feel nervous cause i heard what they talking about with the interviewer and the applicant but so far they all passed the interview, when its my turn i have my k-2 they ask me if i only have 1 child?, when was our first meet and last meet of my Fiance? , what is his job? and my tricky part is his police clearance. after that he gave me a papers and saying CONGRATULATION YOU PASSED just wait for the text from 2GO saying that ready for pickup your VISA. so far is all good.. they just want to clarify if you are comfortable saying the truth and if your relationship is on going and real..

but make sure all your papers is complete and valid on your interview day so there is no reason to go back and reschedule again.
i also noticed that for senior,Pwd and parents with the kids they priorities the seat. cause i have my k-2 and they let us seat in the front as well as the senior and some other parent with small kids.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
