Consulate Review: Nigeria
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : June 14, 2018
Embassy Review : The interview was successful.
I entered relaxed.
Just the basic questions a couple should know that was what I was asked.
1) who is calling for you?
2)How did you meet your spouse?
3)How many times did your spouse come to visit you?
4)How often do you communicate and the medium used for communication?
5)what is your spouse doing at US?
6) What is your spouse address and how did your spouse enter the US and how long has he been there?
7) Where do u get married?
8) Have any of you been married before?
9)Have you ever lived anywhere outside of Nigeria and the different states you have stayed in Nigeria?
10) Do you have any wedding pics and can you show me?
The questions were being asked so fast it was like we were just having a conversation. Just try to flow with the CO and be confident.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
