Comments : i received my packet on nov 7,2018..too bad they spelled my fiance's last name wrong.Instead of returning the packet to the courier we immediately booked a ticket with 3 days gap from
receiving the incorrect visa. I went directly to us embassy the next day and have them correct the spelling of my visa because my flight is just 2 days in between. I showed my itinerary. The filipino consul said that I should just wait for the feeback the next day and wait for the visa coz they will send it to the courier. That day was thursday so I know it is impossible for me to pick it up on the courier because my flight is saturday. I plead them and I said I will
stay in the embassy no matter how long..I just need the passport that day for urgency matter. The fil consul was kinda sarcastic and keep on saying that there is no assurance that I will get my passport that day even if I wait the whole day.But I insist to wait.My fiance was also talking to the embassy call center agents to help me out on this.Thankfuly at 3:30pm..my corrected visa was released. Its a good choice not to send it back to the courier coz it might take another week or so before I receive it.

Consulate Review: Manila, Philippines
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : November 5, 2018
Embassy Review : I arrived at 5:15,they started letting us in at 6am. My appointment is at 6:40 am.I was first in line for filipino consul but unfortunately I was sent to a different window for data entry because they need to scan my passport pic. They didnt accept the pic that i uploaded on ds-160. I waited on the waiting area again because the filipino consul is still looking for my medical result.I was second row to the last for the american consul interview.LOL I finished everything at 9:45am.

The consul is a lady american with a blonde hair wearing a glass. She seems calm and nice. questions to me by american consul are
*my name and bday
**name of fiance
*when and where did you meet
**what website
**when and where did you see each other for the first time
**did he like it
**what did you do there
**how many days did he stay here **have you been married before
**does your fiance have previous marriage
**do you have kids
*** how about your fiance
***what is his job
**why do you want to marry him
**when was the last time you talkes to each other
**what did you talked about
***where are you getting married

asked for our pictures and she look to some of it. She asked me to get the small piece of paper for domestic violence and told me that I will get my visa within 5-10 busdays. I got teary. ❤️

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
